Another great girl's trip for Madison and I.  We ate our way through New Orleans despite the August heat.  Highlights were the charbroiled oysters at Acme Oyster House, muffalata's from Central Market and of course, beignet's from Cafe Du Monde.  

We couldn't have asked for a better hotel for our stay than the French Market Inn.  The central location and wonderfully quiet and homey room made it easy to get around the French Quarter.   I will definitely stay here again on our next trip to New Orleans.  

When we weren't eating the trolley tour around the garden district and a tour at Mardi Gras World were fun ways to get out of the heat.
